ABOUT ME
Passion. Persistence. Perseverance.
I was born a competitor.
I grew up a sport obsessed kid and just loved being outside kicking a footy or bouncing on the trampoline. With a combination of energy and enthusiasm, I formed a strong work ethic at 14 years of age when I began training up to 30 hours a week in pursuit of diving excellence. My Olympic dream was ignited when watching Cathy Freeman win Gold at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. 12 years later, I was presented with my debut Australian Olympic Blazer when I qualified for the 2012 London Olympic Games. Fast forward another 4 years to a moment I will never forget, standing on the podium in Rio, being presented with an Olympic Bronze Medal next to my 3m synchro partner, Maddison Keeney. My journey to success has not been linear, with many personal challenges along the way. However, I firmly believe that my struggles have shaped me into the resilient, empathetic and independent athlete I have become.
